Russian actor Mikhail Yefremov, who caused a fatal accident, confessed to driving for beer on the day of the accident. He said this during questioning at Moscow’s Presnensky District Court, the RIA Novosti news agency reported:

He added that, due to the current situation, he himself feels a victim: “It is hard for me to remember, maybe I gave myself, maybe someone attracted me. I ask the court to disregard my initial testimony because I was very drunk. “

Actor Nikita Jigurda also believes in Mikhail Yefremov’s innocence. He said the car was not being driven by Mikhail Yefremov at the time of the accident because, according to the man, the record shows a “full and bare” hand when the artist himself was wearing a jacket at the time. Additionally, the person sitting on the driver’s side was wearing tight pants, despite the actor wearing baggy jeans.
In addition to Mikhail Yefremov, there was another person in his car that day, confirmed Tevan Padassian, one of the witnesses in the case, writes Newsru.com. According to the man, on the day of the accident, the actor had come to the store to buy cigarettes and saw a “tall man in a baseball cap” sitting in the back seat of the actor’s car.
