“If there are two or three children in the family and it is really difficult for a family member to take care of the children, this is what we are discussing. He also promised to change the procedure starting in January so that parents also receive disability benefits for home-based kindergartens; currently, these benefits are provided only for students in grades 1-4.

He also expects municipalities to pay bonuses to kindergarten teachers for quarantine work, saying “most find the money.”
“We believe that municipalities can and should find funds to pay bonuses,” said J. Šiugždinienė.
According to the government’s decision, beginners who return after vacation from January 4 will study remotely. J.Šiugždinienė promises to return to this question earlier, “if the situation improves”.
