Upon learning that the event had been filmed, Smith was quick to explain the situation in the social space.

Smith emphasized that the outburst of anger had nothing to do with current affairs today, as blacks in the United States began to protest after the brutal death of blacks George Floyd, who was arrested by police.
“It just came to our attention then. I don’t have a problem with anyone, as long as they don’t have a problem with me. A collapsed system is a problem. I didn’t know who owned the car and got kicked out by it,” Smith said.
The 34-year-old basketball player last played in the NBA in 2018-2019. season, when he played 11 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Through them, the defender recorded 6.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists for every 20 minutes of play.
