The Grizzlies’ camp in Memphis has gotten bad news: Team leader Ja Morant won’t be able to play for more than a month.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that the 21-year-old was diagnosed with a second-degree left ankle sprain that will force him to go 3-5 weeks without playing basketball.
Morant was injured in a duel with the Brooklyn Nets, when after an attempt to block the pitch he failed to land on the floor and left the arena alone in a wheelchair.
During the first three games of the season, Morantas posted stats of 26.3 points, 6.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
