No oil, but with a special additive

For the record, a fully standard Volkswagen Touran with a 1.9 TDI engine was used, to the lubrication system to which a special nanotechnology-based RVS Master additive was added. It differs from traditional motor oil additives called “doctors” in its operation; Unlike many others, the RVS developed in Finland affects the metal parts of the engine and maintains its efficiency even after changing the oil.

“I am an engineer myself, I have studied engine theory and I have no way of understanding how an engine can function without oil. This is a good proof of the benefits of this additive: if you can do such a miracle, and then use it in the usual way with oil, you can really make a used car, ”said V. Milius, editor-in-chief of Auto Bild Lietuva magazine , after reaching the record.

He achieved a record together with A. Pocius while driving from Vilnius to Klaipeda. The gray Volkswagen Touran stopped after 307 km, not because the engine “stopped”, on the contrary, it did not make any strange sounds. Realizing that they had already reached the record, the crew members decided that such an achievement would be enough and did not seek to go any further. He then poured in the previously drained oil and returned to Vilnius in the same car.

“We leave the opportunity to improve that record, maybe someone else will do it, or maybe we will take advantage of it again. We could continue and I don’t know where we would have stopped, maybe a kilometer, or maybe another thousand,” said V. Milius .

He drove economically

After almost half a million kilometers, the Volkswagen Touran was not driving at full speed. Sitting behind the wheel, V. Milius said that he constantly tried to maintain about 90 km / h. and take advantage of the car’s inertia without unnecessarily accelerating and maintaining a constant load on both slopes and slopes. They had stopped once during the trip, but the engine was always running.

“The ride itself reminded me of competing in economy driving, with only two lights on the instrument panel constantly on: low oil warnings and low pressure in the lubrication system,” Milius said, adding that there were no additional vibrations, no sounds or other signs of engine condition. .

After finishing and reaching the record, the crew members still measured the engine sound with a decibel meter, and then after adding oil to the engine, they did it again, there was no difference.

Useful for used and new

According to A. Pocius, head of the RVS Master representative office in Lithuania, in such a test he intends to show the benefits of this material based on nanotechnology for the engine. A simple internal combustion engine would run for a few minutes and “shut off” when the oil is drained. However, with the RVS Master, you continue to work for over a hundred kilometers.
