In Vilnius, the car crashed into the Rasai cemetery: the driver fled, but was soon found

The police reported that at 6.04. A report was received that there had been an accident on Sukilėli Street – the car hit the cemetery fence and overturned it. The speaker told authorities that he did not see people around the car.

The police who arrived at the scene discovered that a Citroen car had entered the Rasai cemetery and the person driving it had fled the scene.

According to preliminary data, the driver overturned the cemetery fence and damaged several graves of Polish soldiers.

Additional. That same morning, officers found the driver. It turned out that the car was driven by a woman (born 1987). They found her at her home. The woman was sober, but has no right to drive and the car does not have insurance or proof of fitness to circulate. The driver told authorities that she was very sorry for her actions.
