A long awaited day for the Lithuanian swimming community. After a long break in quarantine, the Lithuanian Swimming Federation (LPF) competition, the LPF Sprint Cup, began today.

There was no intrigue in the women’s 100-meter breaststroke match. Kotryna Teterevkova (1.07.64) showed the best result here. Second place was taken by young Smiltė Plytnykaitė (1.12.27), and third place went to Elze Bielskute (1.13.64). In men’s swimming, two athletes “went in” for one minute. The gold went to Andrius Šidlauskas (57.98) and the silver to Giedrius Titenis (58.68). The bronze was won by Aleksas Savickas (1.01.07). By the way, this is the second medal of this competition for G. Titenis.
The second LPF Sprint Cup gold medal in the women’s 200m set Kotryna Teterevkova (2.21.02) won in the swimming match. The second best time was recorded by Gabrielė Burokaitė (2.29.17), and third place was held by Ieva Evaltaitė (2.29.77), who is not far behind. Nojus Skirutis (2.04.25) was the best in the men’s competition, beating two older rivals: Povilas Strazdas (2.04.73) and Eimantas Milius (2.05.56).
