The news reached Kaunas “Žalgiris” that Marek Blaževičius’s COVID-19 test response is positive. The results of tests carried out on Wednesday by other players and coaches are negative, the Žalgiris club announced.
Points are earned this season
After the King Mindaugas Cup match on Monday, the people of Žalgiris had a day off on Tuesday. Sensing cold symptoms, Blaževičius stayed home, no longer attended training on Wednesday, and was examined separately.
When a positive test result was obtained, the rest of the team were also examined. Wednesday’s test results showed negative responses from both the players and the coaching staff.
The people of Žalgiris will test again on Thursday.
If the team members get two negative results in a row in the tests, they will be able to participate in the Euroleague game on Friday.
