The eighth participant of the Northern European Basketball League will be announced after the qualifying match between the Trefl clubs in Sopot (Poland) and Dnipro (Dnipro) (Ukraine).

It is noted that this league is completely new and is not related to the 1999-2003. the current Northern European Basketball League (NEBL).
