The eighth participant of the Northern European Basketball League will be announced after the qualifying match between the Trefl clubs in Sopot (Poland) and Dnipro (Dnipro) (Ukraine).
It is reported that the 8 teams will meet once through four arranged windows that will not overlap with the FIBA windows. The start of the season is scheduled for October 19-20.
It is noted that this league is completely new and is not related to the 1999-2003. the current Northern European Basketball League (NEBL).
The description states that the ENBL will give preference to clubs from Northern, Central and Eastern European countries that, for one reason or another, cannot participate in the FIBA Champions League or the FIBA European Cup, but still thus they wish to participate. compete in an international tournament.
