Kšištofas and Darjušas Lavrinovičiai, Simas Jasaitis, Steponas Babrauskas, Justas Sinica and the experienced 3×3 basketball player and coach Dainius Novickas will seek to justify the name of “Legends” in Palanga.

“I am amazed myself, I thought 3×3 basketball is not interesting or too difficult, but when I started playing, the opinion changed: it is a very addictive and fun game,” said Christoph. “Not for nothing in Asia, where there are no great basketball stars, this sport is very popular.”

For the brothers, Palanga is associated not only with recreation, but also with many years during which they had to participate in the camps of the Lithuanian national team.

“Of course, we only have good memories of that time,” said Darjušas. – And now we expect many spectators and a great celebration will be beautiful. Basketball is fun, game after game, there will be familiar faces and young talents. “

Until now, most Hoptrans 3×3 players have emphasized speed as a key difference between regular basketball and trio. However, the Lavrinovich brothers also had something to add to this discussion.

“Sometimes we don’t understand the speed everyone emphasizes. Yes, you need to play fast, but at the same time calmly, without rushing and reading the game very well,” said Krishof.

D. Novickas, who has gained a lot of experience in a basketball trio, will also be playing on the Legends team.

Both the Lavrinovičiai brothers and the remaining veterans of this 3×3 basketball enthusiast’s team try to master the subtleties of the game and the interpretation of the rules as soon as possible.

“Everything will be fine, we will do everything with experience, peace and slowly,” said D. Novickas. “We will keep singing.”

“I wish I had no favorite at the start of the tournament until we have gotten closer and used to it,” Darjušas expressed his expectations for the upcoming tournament spells.

The Hoptrans 3×3 tournament in Palanga will consist of three teams (July 3-4, 10-11, 16-17) and a final stage (July 24-25). Tournament prize fund – 74 thousand. euros
