The third place winners were announced at the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (KMT). They became basketball players for Utena Juventus who 86:69 (21:11, 19:22, 25:18, 21:18) confidently defeated the “Neptune” of Klaipeda.

The team started the match slowly and Juventus were the first to reach the double-digit limit only after playing five minutes: 11: 5. After catching a good wind, Juventus escaped by as much as nineteen points (35:18), until Džiugas Slavinskas stopped their streak with a penalty kick. This prompted a response from Klaipėda residents, and two more triples from N.Giga left only five points for Utena – 32:37. Marius Runkauskas’s triple and Dž Slavinskas’ free kick closed the second quarter – 40:33.
