In the chaotic race in Italy: L. Hamilton’s victory

The Briton, who won in qualifying, lost his place to teammate V. Botto after the start. But after the accident on the first lap, the athletes were forced to line up behind the safety car.

The winners of the Italian GP, ​​Pierre Gasly and Kimo Raikkonen, did not escape the first round. Romain Grosjean and Max Verstappen were also involved in the incident. After the accident, both the Dutchman and the aforementioned Mr. Gasly ended their performances.

After the restart, another major accident occurred on the start / finish line, involving Carlos Sainz, Nicholas Latifi, Antonio Giovinazzi and Kevin Magnussen and withdrawing from the race. After this incident, the race was suspended.

Later, when the competition was extended, L. Hamilton started better, who edged out V. Bottas at the first corner and became the leader. The Finns tried too hard to keep up with the British, but at the same time the athlete’s pace dropped sharply, so he went to the technical service area to change tires.

In the second half of the race, Lance Stroll, who had been in third place for a while, had an accident. After the accident of the Racing Point driver, the race was stopped again.

Later, when racing resumed, Bott hoped to overtake Hamilton and climb back to first place. But the Finns got off to a bad start and lost their place to Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo. It is true that it was not long and V. Bottas regained second position after overtaking the rival.

Without any serious resistance, Hamilton won in today’s chaotic race. Mr. Bott had to settle for second place. And for the first time in his career, A. Albonas took the podium, defeating D. Ricciardo near the end of the competition.

Shortly before the first point, Williams driver George Russell was missing. The British were in the top ten at the same time. But after one of the restarts, the athlete lost several positions. At the end of the race, Russell managed to overtake only R. Grosjean de Haas. The British finished eleventh, so they didn’t score.
