There have been unconfirmed reports that three people were injured with a knife during an incident that allegedly occurred at a hotel.
Louisa on West George Street told Sky News: “I saw people receiving medical help, there was blood on the ground. I also saw people running away from the hotel, and the police yelled “raise your hands, raise your hands and get out.” The police blocked the street, which was full of police and ambulances. Authorities have asked people in other buildings near the Park Inn to stay indoors and not take to the streets.
Police say the alleged attacker was shot at the scene. There are believed to be no more attackers.
