M.Žaliūkas played for Scottish Edingurbo’s Hearts team from 2006 to 2013 and made a brilliant mark here.

For the past few years, M. Žaliūkas has been battling motor neuron disease.

News of the footballer’s death was shared on social media on Saturday by the wife of Marius Žaliūkas, author of the blog “Lady of Books” Nora Žaliūkė.
