People from 50 to 99 years old died of coronavirus last day, mainly in the group of 80 to 89 years
26 people died last day from COVID-19, ages 50 to 99, according to data released by the Statistics Department on Sunday.
A total of 13 men and women died on the last day.
Most of the deaths (11) belonged to the age group 80 to 89 years, six deaths ranged from 70 to 79 years.
Five deaths were recorded in the age group 60-69 years and three deaths in the age group 90-99 years. One of the deceased was between 50 and 59 years old.
Additionally, five coronavirus deaths were included in the overall death statistics when the actual date of death is earlier.
A total of 2,445 people died from coronavirus. The highest number of deaths, 878, corresponded to the age group 80 to 89 years. Among other things, three people between the ages of 20 and 29 died from the disease.
1.86 thousand people are treated in hospitals. COVID-19 patients, 147 in resuscitation
Lithuanian hospitals are currently treating 1,859 COVID-19 patients, 147 of them in resuscitation, the Statistics Department reported on Sunday.
In addition, oxygen is supplied in 1042, artificial lung ventilation is applied to 98 people.

Of the 701 resuscitation beds, 424 were occupied. Of the 656 beds with artificial lung ventilation, 245 were occupied and 2228 of the 6393 were occupied with beds with oxygen supply.
