20 people died from coronavirus last day, they were between 40 and 99 years old, according to data released by the Department of Statistics on Monday.

Most of the deaths, nine, were in the age group 80-89 years, and five people were in the age group 70-79 years.

Two of the dead were between 90 and 99 years old, and two more were between 50 and 59 years old.

A man died between the ages of 40 and 49.

Eight deaths were recorded in Vilnius, four in Kaunas and Šiauliai, three in Telšiai and one in Klaipėda counties.
