In Latvia, on Friday at a joint meeting of the government and the crisis management council a state of emergency was decided from November 9 to December 6 to curb the spread of the coronavirus infection in the country.
During public emergencies, all public events will be prohibited. This prohibition will not apply to outdoor gatherings, processions and pickets. A maximum of 10 people from a maximum of two households will be allowed to attend private events other than funerals.
