In Italy, the number of deaths from coronavirus per day is the lowest since March

According to the Department of Civil Protection on Tuesday, the total number of deaths in the country since the start of the pandemic has reached 33,530.

The daily increase in the number of new cases of coronavirus infection was 318. This is almost double that of Monday (178), when the lowest rate since February 26 was recorded. A total of 233,515 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Italy since the start of the pandemic.

On 21 February, an outbreak of coronavirus was recorded in Italy. Nearly 2.5 million tests have been conducted in a country with a population of over 60 million since the pandemic began.

June 3 The Italian government should lift the last remaining restriction on movement between regions. From the same date, as already announced, Italy is ready to accept EU and Schengen citizens without quarantine.
