In Greece, Panathinaikos has been declared champion, and plans to deal with insolvent clubs are planned.

The Greek championship leaders finally made the final decision: the league will be irreversibly suspended, and Panathinaikos of Athens will regain the title of champion.

20 of the 26 rounds were played in this championship, and Panathinaikos suffered only two defeats. Silver went to the AEK club in Athens with Jonas Mačiulis. It was also decided that the lowest places in Thessaloniki “Aris” with Martynas Gecevičius and Thessaloniki PAOK would not fall in the lower division.

Next season, the top two clubs in the second division are slated to join the top league, providing an opportunity to return to the championship for the Olympiacos team in Piraeus, whose backups were second in the bottom league.

The situation is compounded by the fact that in Greece there are plans to create a cartel for clubs wishing to play as a priority. There is a desire to charge teams an initial fee of € 200,000 as proof of a solid financial base and solvency for players, as this has become a serious problem in Greece.

There are also plans to introduce minimum budget levels and arenas of a certain size, so it remains unclear how many teams will be able to meet these requirements.
