This was ASVEL’s third win and Crvena zvezda’s failure in a row.

The Serbian club already awaits the test of the Žalgiris basketball players in Kaunas next Thursday.

The hosts in the match against ASVEL were second in terms of performance (average 11.3) and utility (11.1) of team player Johnny O’Bryanto, who was suspended for ten days due to a conflict with head coach Dejan Radonjic.

The French club’s basketball players, who scored eleven unanswered points, were separated by 15 points, but Crvena zvezda, who had slightly melted the deficit, once again weighed the result in their favor at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

The thriller stayed away in the Alexander Nikoličius arena until the end of the duel. In the fourth quarter, the lead team was constantly changing.

2 minutes before the end of the match, Crvena zvezda player Corey Walden hit two points, giving the Belgrade team a minimal lead, but ASVEL striker Norris Cole responded with a goal.

These basketball players also traded precise two-point points in other upcoming attacks.

ASVEL forward William Howard, with 12 seconds left, bounced off a major ball on attack, followed by a foul from opponents and precise penalties from N. Cole.

One of the most productive players in the Euroleague, Jordan Loyd, shot two desperate 3-pointers in an attempt to equalize the result of the match in the last minute, but they didn’t break the net.

“Red Star”: Corey Waldenas and Ognjenas Dobričius – 17 each, Landry Nnoko 12.

ASVEL: Norrisas Cole’as 22, Antoine’as Diotas 14, Amine Noua 12.
