Kauno Žalgiris football club successfully started the second round of league A. Rokas Garast students beat Vilnius “Žalgiris” 3: 2 (2: 0). This was Kaunas’ first win in mutual matches since the summer of 2017, writes zalgiris.lt.
The first 20 minutes did not bode well: the hosts controlled the ball on Kaunas’ side of the field and practically did not allow them to leave their side of the field.
Although opponents controlled the game, the guests were the first to score. Team captain Linas Pilibaitis drove Kauno Žalgiris forward with a great shot.
