Both the condemned and their victims have come from Romania.

This story came to light when a criminal case was completed at the Woolwich Crown Court these days. He accuses the brothers Ilcicas Dumitru (19) and Ioan Dumitru (24) not only of organizing prostitution but also of other serious crimes.

It turned out that the London-based Romanians cheated on their 20-year-old compatriot in the city last year, promised the girl a job at the factory, bought her a plane ticket, met her at Luton airport, and took her to his house in Plumstead as soon as he arrived.

That same night, the brothers took the girl to North London and ordered her to offer sex for money on the streets. She begged him not to, but the men threatened to “break his head” if he did not earn money.

Therefore, the stranger was involved in prostitution, and his pimps demanded the service of at least 10-15 men a day without threatening to face the task.

At the time of the hearing, it was established that he was therefore receiving £ 1,000 a day from customers, with all the money taken from the collectors. It also turned out that the girl, caught in her traps, became pregnant the first few nights, but the brothers continued to force her to work as a prostitute, constantly beating her, not letting her go home alone.

Therefore, the Romanian had to continue his activities even when she was 7 months pregnant, it was obvious, even the girl’s fears about the dead fetus did not soften the hearts of the brothers – she stopped moving in the womb.

The girl, who was in an unenviable situation, was rescued by a merciful client who, seeing a pregnant prostitute, allowed her to call relatives in Romania. Relatives who heard the story contacted local police, and the latter, with colleagues in London and the girl, were immediately rescued during a special operation.

The co-authors were found in custody, and their victim returned to Romania and gave birth to a healthy boy a few weeks later.

The Ilcico and Ioano Dumitru case has already been closed and a verdict is due in the near future. The brothers face many years in prison: they will be responsible not only for human trafficking, but also for the illegal restriction of human freedom, the organization of prostitution and the benefit of it.

It was recognized that due to the man’s behavior, the girl’s situation amounted to slavery.

The younger brother was also involved in the cocaine trade.
