At the General Assistance Center, it was initially reported that an incident report on the Vilnius-Marijampolė highway, near the village of Penkininkai, received at 4.35pm, was oppressed and injured.
According to preliminary data, the accident occurred when a Citroen collided with a road vehicle, then obstructed a Fiat in the same direction and pushed it into the opposite lane of the truck.
A fire truck, which was going to the rescue operation, went off the road and fell into a ditch. Firefighters did not suffer during the incident, which did not interfere with rescue operations.
