“I felt the excitement last Sunday, at first I did not rush to the hospital, I wanted to see if it really was the beginning of labor. The contractions were repeated every 20 minutes, then every 10. I spent the night and went to the treatment center in the morning. The doctors were unable to do anything for a long time because the cervix was not open enough. With pain relievers and supervised staff, I was tortured until Tuesday noon. After long hours of waiting, examinations revealed that the baby was beginning to lack oxygen, so there was no way out, surgery was urgently needed, “Ilka said.

Admittedly, the positive-looking healthy lifestyle activist was pleased that she still managed to recover fairly quickly after surgery.
“It just came to our attention then. I didn’t feel my feet for exactly that amount of time. Women generally heal a little bit more,” Ilka recalled.
Although the doctors prohibited her from walking when she brought the girl to the room, Ilka was able to feed her immediately.
Mom with a smile told me that all instincts were activated at lightning speed. Since Ilka was feeding her daughter, she quickly had to change her diapers.

The news about the unborn baby was shared by the happy couple with the magazine “Žmonės” in November last year.
“Andrius and I talked about the boy for almost a year. We just talked. Andrius loved him very much already. I was wondering if the time was right. But I took that thought away, after all, nothing is missing now: I’m married, healthy, a good man, we have a house where we can comfortably raise a baby, ”Ilka Adams opened earlier.

Of course, the athlete couple married in 2014 in Africa. Ilka and Andrius flew to Namibia more than a week before the wedding. Since Andrius is a Catholic and Ilka is an Evangelical Lutheran, the couple married a pastor from a local church.
