In the Lithuanian Basketball League (Betsafe-LKL), the Utena Juventus team started the game badly, had a deficit of 19 points at a time, but returned to the fight.
After the stubborn end, the people of Utena 86:88 (14:29, 30:24, 23:15, 19:20) fell from the hand of Dovis Bičkauskis and landed on “Rytas”. However, in the end, the final result could have been determined by a fault not recognized by the referees, after which Žydrūnas Urbonas had claims against the judges.

Rytas started the match on a much more positive note and escaped already 14: 4. Although Rytas had fled further (33:14), the gap eventually began to narrow, though not quickly. In the middle of the half, Juventus improved the situation (35:45), but failed to reach a single-digit deficit. I.Buva stopped issuing fines twice, hit the colon, so that the situation of “Rytas” was stable again (50:35). Long shots improved Juventus’ mood (42:52), and before the long break the team scored 9 points – 53:44.
After the big break, Juventus struggled: Mindaugas Kupšas, Žygimantas Skučas, Ignas Vaitkus and Bryantas Crawford reduced the gap to a minimum, and Marius Runkauskas put team Utena ahead – 59:58. Juventus took control, Mindaugas Girdžiūnas received a technical foul, but Rytas finished the fourth with more success – 68:67.
The last quarter was very tense, Vytautas Šulskis and Bryantas Crawford gave Juventus a 6-point lead (77:71), but Andrew Goudelock and Lukas Uleckas compared the result – 77:77. True, the latter was injured and soon sat down on a bench, and the result constantly fluctuated in both directions – 86:85. Dovis Bičkauskis was released after a seemingly unsuccessful attack, thus overtaking “Morning” (88:86), with only 17 seconds remaining. Crawford’s pitch was inappropriate, the judges did not record the foul and the victory went to the East.
Arynas Butkevičius, who suffers from coronavirus, did not help Rytas in this match, Vaidas Kariniauskas did not have an important member of Juventus.
