The person died on the spot due to damaged internal organs and the occurrence of internal bleeding. It also didn’t help that after realizing what she was doing, the woman could only say for the second time where the doctors should come. Because when you first called, you forgot the address.

After examining the murder case, the Vilnius Regional Court found Galina Barsukova guilty and sentenced her to 9 years in prison. In Lithuania, women serve their sentences in Panevėžys. It is in those prisons where the murdered sister has been serving a sentence for some time.

The appeal did not help

After hearing the sentence, Ms. Barsukova still tried to get out of trouble by filing an appeal. He asked to change the sentence and reclassify the crime from intentional to negligent.

The woman stressed that she had no intention of hurting her partner with a knife, she did so out of frivolity and carelessness. Due to drunkenness, she did not estimate the distance between herself and the victim and did not foresee the consequences of a single stab with a knife.

The knife got into his hands because he was shaving and cutting an apple at the time. Ms. Barsukova reiterated that she was upset by the provocative behavior of the victim.

“It was more of an accident than a deliberate crime. I did not take the knife in my hands with the aim of injuring a partner, ”explained the convict.

The woman also added that she regretted the lifestyle she had chosen and said that she had drawn the correct conclusions. Therefore, the punishment, according to the murderer, must be commuted because an unplanned and careless crime was committed without selfish motives, goals or motives.

However, the Lithuanian Court of Appeal did not pardon G. Barsukova. It didn’t help that she was being judged for the first time either. The murderer’s complaint was rejected and the sentence imposed remained unchanged.

Free relationships

Earlier, the tv3.lt news portal wrote that the woman did not attempt to deny her guilt in court. He confirmed that he had known his partner for about 9 years. She became friends with her husband and was with him from time to time. The woman emphasized that they were linked by a “free” relationship: they wanted to stay, they wanted to leave.

The woman admitted that their relationship was not strong precisely because of her own character. She could have “exploded” in the smallest detail, and her partner was calm. For the past six months, the couple have lived in a garage.

They used the cheapest alcohol, often mixing everything with a mouthwash. No wonder those bloody afternoons were drunk too. Later, the woman noticed almost 2 prom. drunkenness, and after examining the killer’s blood and urine, about 3 prom were found in it. alcohol.

The woman told the court that that night the roommate started holding on to her for something. She told him to replace him, but he was not calm. The woman with the knife grabbed it, according to her, when she saw the scissors in the roommate’s hands.

The man allegedly wanted to hit her with a pair of scissors, but could not do so, they slipped from the roommate’s hands. Barsukova later clarified that she herself had managed to remove the scissors from her hands. And as if nowhere else they both drank more.

But after a few minutes, everything turned upside down. The woman told the court that she had taken a knife to cut an apple when the roommate started holding on to him again. The woman says it was not even understood how to stab the man in the right side.

After the hit, according to the killer, the roommate was still conscious, but did not know how long. After the hit, the man allegedly took her hand. He called an ambulance about 5-7 minutes later when he answered.

When he called a doctor, the roommate was still alive, and when he called a second time, his hand was on the victim, he felt cold. The first time he called for help, he said the man was dying but did not know the street and hung up. When he called the second time, the partner’s body had already started to cool down.

Not the first attack of its kind

The murdered man’s sister also testified in court. The victim said she knew very little about the relationship between her brother and Barsukova because she herself was serving her sentence in a correctional facility. He called his brother so he knew he was living with that woman.

The sister claimed that the drunken brother could hit him, but nothing else. The officer informed him of his brother’s death. She had met Mr. Barsukov before, from what she knew of their previous relationship.

Supposedly, the killer had previously lived with another roommate and was very angry with him. Although the witness did not see herself, the woman’s ex-partner had told her that Mr. Barsukova had attacked him with a knife.

The sisters did not say anything about their relationship with Barsukova. A sister of an acquaintance who lives in a nearby garage said that she had heard that there were often conflicts between them and that Barsukova was threatening her brother with killing him.
