According to the municipality, from Thursday the heat will reach the first residential houses in the districts of Fabijoniškės, Šeškinė, Pilaitė, Šnipiškės, Karoliniškės, Lazdynai, Naujoji Vilnia, Baltupiai and Grigiškės, and from Monday to Tuesday Vilnius will be supplied throughout.
According to the municipality, some of the homes that have decided to turn on the heating before the start of the heating season are already heating up, and the heat will reach the rest of the population in the coming days.
The municipality predicts that this October, the cost of heating in the capital could be around 80 percent. higher than last year, so no more than 35% will be recorded for the population as of November. increase in heating prices compared to the corresponding price in the same month of the previous year, and arrears incurred during the heating season will be offered to pay conveniently by individual agreement with the heating networks of Vilnius.
According to the calculations of the Vilnius heating networks, in October the standard of 50 m2 M. m for the heating bill for a renovated apartment will be 22 euros, without renovation – about 38 euros.
Kaunas and Panevėžys started the heating seasons on September 27, Šiauliai – on September 24. Klaipeda has not yet turned on the central supply heating. When the heating season will begin in the port city will be decided on October 11.
