The ship can carry 90 people at a time, but the exact number, according to Rimgaudas Višinskas, Šilutė port director, will depend on government decisions. “It just came to our attention then. If the ferry is half empty, we have a net loss,” calculated the port director.

The ferry will start operating on June 20. Previously, according to R. Višinskas, it is not worth sailing by ferry due to the extended school year.
“It just came to our attention then. And now the state has deprived citizens of the opportunity to vacation for three months, so it is not worth setting sail before the day of San Juan,” joked the director of the port.
R.Višinskas said that last year was a success, so he hopes to be successful this year as well. “We hope that this year will also be successful. Only the intensive work season will be short again,” said the port director.
