Both parties are reportedly nearing an agreement on a one-year contract.
After leaving Žalgiris, Hayes had hoped to sign a contract with the National Basketball Association (NBA) team this summer, but so far he has not received any offers to satisfy him. The American was at the Boston Celtics review this summer.

Hayes averaged 9.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 9.8 assists per 27 minutes in the Euroleague last season.
Gabriel Deck has recently been mentioned as a candidate for Barcelona, but Argentina’s future at the Oklahoma Thunder Club will only be clear before the start of the next NBA season.
