During the premiere, director Tadas Vidmantas presented his latest film “Night Fishing”.
The film, which contains elements of crime drama, will surprise many fans of the director’s work, but it will not be lacking in peaceful humor, absurd situations, irony and an unexpected ending.
The plot of the film revolves around two neighbors, Justas and Povilas, who go fishing at night.
The men who met on the remote island in the lake talk about “adventures” and women, but the unexpected conversation turns not only into an intriguing story about the lives of men, but also a matter of death or life.
And although only two actors Leonardas Pobedonoscevas and Marius Repšys played the main roles in T. Vidmantas’ latest film, Lithuanian comedy star Ineta Stasiulytė also played a small character, recognizable to viewers of T. Vydmantas films.
In “Night Fishing,” she played a brief but memorable role as an ambulance dispatcher.
