The “Zenit” of Saint Petersburg represented by Artūras Gudaitis achieved the fourth victory in the Euroleague championship (4-2).

In the second half, the initiative was taken by the guests, who maintained a thunderbolt 13: 2 and after Gudaitis’s successful penalty kicks, the Russians’ lead increased to 11 points (29:18).

The beginning of the last quarter was Gudaitis. The high was unstoppable under the baskets, scoring 8 straight points and increasing the Russian advantage to 14 points (59:45). But soon ALBA accelerated 11: 2 and after Peyton Siva’s 3-pointers, the hosts came close to 5 points (56:61).
There was a minute left for Mateusz Ponitka to take both penalties (60:69), the ALBA basketball players lacked precision and the Russian club celebrated the victory.
ALBA did not save Ben Lammers’ useful game from defeat. The tall man scored 15 points (6/10 two, 1/4 trit) in 25 minutes, bounced 10 balls and scored 24 utility points.
