“The requirements are very strict, there can be nine in the classrooms and up to 50 in the corridors. The temperature will be measured for those who attend the exams. We still do not see major challenges, we hope that the conditions will be mild and they will be quarantined”, says Laima Prižgintienė, head of the Klaipeda Department of Education.
Students who come to take the exams will receive protective equipment, however, once the mask is received, it must be worn during the two optional exams.
And here the kindergartens are already waiting for the little visitors. According to the mayor, the goal is to ensure that parents can return to work. L. Prižgintienė says that it is difficult to say exactly how many children will return to kindergarten at the time of the dog and reminds that sick children should stay home.
“Those children who will have a temperature of 37.3, the body will not be able to accept them. As you know, the quarantine has not yet been lifted, if possible, do not take them to kindergartens, because it is safer for children to stay at home, “says L. Prižgintienė.
Mayor V. Grubliauskas says that the heads of the institutions must guarantee the inspections of employees to detect the COVID-19 virus. Until now, there have been no feverish staff in educational institutions, but steps are being taken to reassure staff and parents.
