Kaunas “Žalgiris” (10/7) continued the winning streak in the Euroleague, breaking ALBA in Berlin (6/10) – 74:71 (12:14, 19:23, 23:11, 20:23).

After a long break, Hayes came back after scoring the first eight points for Žalgiris – 39:41. In the middle of the half, J. Lauvergne tied the score with two passes – 43:43. P.Jankūnas ‘three points and A.Rubitas’ two shots from close range helped to take the lead – 50:46. R. Jokubaitis also broke the ice in Žalgiris’ last attack – 54:48.

For the people of Žalgiris, this was the fifth consecutive victory in the Euroleague.
Kaunas residents proved that they can win without falling fabulously into 3s. This time, the punch was staggered from afar (5/15, 33 percent) and the leg jammed with 16 errors. True, there were even nine made in the first half, and then the situation improved considerably.
