The Parler social network has become a haven for far-right people who claim to face censorship on other social media platforms.
“We are aware of the constant publication of Parler devices to incite violence in the United States,” Google responded to an AFP news agency.
“For the application to be distributed on Google Play, we need strict control over the content of the application,” he added about the online giant, referring to its digital application store for Android devices.
According to Google, developers who want to sell their products on Google Play must comply with policies and measures designed to curb violent content.
“In light of this ongoing and imminent threat to public safety, we are temporarily removing the application from Google Play until it resolves these issues,” Google said.

These platforms, unlike other social networks, including Facebook and Twitter, do not flag false or unsubstantiated content, respectively, and do not place restrictions on the dissemination of conspiracy theories.
Facebook and Twitter blocked Trump’s accounts on Friday for fear they would be used to incite other attacks similar to the one in the nation’s capital on Wednesday.
Sites like Parler have drawn the attention of Republican lawmakers and the Trump campaign.
