US Vice President Test USA COVID-19 negative for representative of Pence infected with coronavirus
Close to advisers to the US vice president infected with the coronavirus COVID-19 infection, Mike Pence’s test for the disease is negative, his spokesman said Sunday.
According to Devin O’Malley, the vice president is not self-employed, as some American publications have reported, and will go to work at the White House on Monday.
“Vice President Pence will continue to follow the advice of the White House Medical Division and has not been quarantined,” his spokesman said.
“Vice President Pence’s evidence is negative every day, he plans to be in the White House tomorrow,” he added.
Pence spokeswoman Katie Miller discovered that she was infected with COVID-19 on Friday, and the infection was confirmed to aide to President Donald Trump last week.
Senior White House Task Force Expert Coronavir, dr. Anthony Fauci told CNN that his COVID-19 test was negative and that he had no close contact with Miller, but that a “modified quarantine” would follow.
Trump, 73, and Pence, 60, and many others in the White House are screened daily for coronaviruses. However, Trump and Pence often ignore medical experts’ instructions to wear a protective mask.
