Audrius Petrauskas – Gebrasy, who participated in the selection of “Eurovision” for the fourth time, was considered one of the favorites of the competition. Previously, the 26-year-old singer-songwriter performed on this stage with the band. After participating in the competition alone, the guy received a lot more attention: His song “Where’d You Wanna Go” garnered the most audience and commission votes in both the first stage and the semi-finals.

Despite The Roop’s record number of 74,512 viewers and a significant break with the other contestants, Audrius was among the leaders in the final with 6,413 viewers and 10 commission points. Gebrasy, who had given a lyrical performance, could not answer the question of coach Vaidotas Baumila after leaving the stage. The boy turned away from the camera and covered his face with his hand.

“I was so overwhelmed with emotion that it was difficult for me to say anything. Looks like I’m shaking a little now. Throughout the years of my life, I … ”Gebrasy was unable to extend the sentence in an attempt to hold back tears.

The sensitivity of the interpreter was also noted by the members of the commission.

“The first three performances were really strong and some of them were sensitive. I want to wish Audri is not shy with sensitivity. Sensitive people create wonderful things, ”said Vytautas Bikus.

“For me, Gebrasy is a Eurovision discovery. We are all human, we all get tired, sometimes that tiredness is felt in our voice and gives certain colors,” said Gerūta Griniūtė.

“This is probably one of the strongest Eurovision songs this year. He, the creation and the singing are a single unit. This is why the Lithuanians were so hooked on this work,” said Stanislav Stavickis-Stano .

“This is the great turning point in this race. This selection is a place where it has been noticed by an even wider circle of people. This will be the program that will be talked about for a long time, ”believes Ramūnas Zilnys.

On Sunday morning, somewhat calm, A. Petrauskas-Gebrasy shared his impressions on Facebook in much more detail.

“Somehow I did not want to rush with gratitude yesterday, because I realized that if I let my thoughts relax a little, it could make me more aware of what I managed to do yesterday. In the last three weeks, I have invested more work and time than in any other event in my life. You can say that I did not even take care of myself normally, I slept very little, I did not always eat, I shared with people and interviews, because when so much interest in music arises, you never know if it is an event unique, so I devoted every minute to it, in that moment I would live longer.

In fact, it may even be unfair to limit this whole process to the last three weeks, after all we had to go to Faust Vencka every summer week and record the “Eurovision” songs that he created. But he was an absolute hero during this period and the best friend he could have.

Over the past year, it has actually been very difficult to feel needed, to see life continue to boil, all who can, trying to do their job, and the musicians / artists sitting locked in their homes and waiting for more beautiful days. I can say that those most beautiful days came to me.

Going on stage yesterday, I deeply felt that my performance was more or less a formality, but I was so grateful to be there, on stage, with my song, that he really cares about people.

All those emotions and fatigue came together in my first tears during the live air, and I couldn’t even utter a word after the show. I wanted to thank all the people from the bottom of my heart for giving me these three minutes that happened yesterday, because now it’s even hard to say when there will be another chance to get back on stage and yesterday I completely understood.

Many thanks to everyone who believed in my program and supported it to the last second, voted and wrote posts. You have made this trip my most memorable event and I can only hope that you support me in my musical steps.

I want to thank the people I knew the most about because I decided to be an author at this year’s Eurovision. These are Titus and Ben. Both are unreal, I’m glad I made it to the final and watched the show. like a proud mother. I have no doubt that you will still achieve a lot and realize yourself in music. Thanks to Military Daikerite for not being afraid so close to Eurovision to accept the challenge to participate with “Shadows” and perform that song fantastically.

Norbert Latkowski, although he didn’t make a significant contribution to the song, it was fun to watch you try and your first and second performances were unmatched as you improved and freed yourself as a performer in such a short amount of time, “wrote Audrius on Facebook.
