“There is no need to rush to conclusions,” he said.
No invitations have been received to join the coalition.
G. Paluckas did not elaborate on possible coalitions.
“So far we have not received invitations, we have not negotiated with anyone and I can deny once again that we have not really talked about coalitions with any right, conservative or liberal,” he stressed.
According to him, the main task of the left party, if the election is successful, is to form or join a center-left coalition, but there is no possibility of the party joining the right.
He does not promise to resign as president
The leader of the Social Democrats G. Paluckas competed with the conservative Edmundas Pupinis in the second round in the Utena constituency. And although the latter outperformed G. Paluckas by almost 10% in the first round, counting the votes from all electoral districts, both candidates received the same number of votes.

Gintautas Paluckas, Rasa Budbergytė, Julius Sabatauskas, Algirdas Sysas, Linas Jonauskas, Vilija Targamadzė, Orinta Leiputė and Dovilė Šakalienė entered the Seimas during the first round of the elections. All of them, except Vilija Targamadze, also compete in the second round of the Seimas elections.
LSDP members Linas Balsys, Saulius Čaplinskas, Giedrius Drukteinis, Raminta Popovienė, Vaidas Navickas and Juozas Olekas also compete in it.
A total of 12 LSDP candidates met in single-member constituencies on Sunday.
Four with candidates from the Lithuanian Green and Peasant Union (LVŽS), three with members of the Liberal Movement of the Republic of Lithuania (LRLS), two with candidates from the Lithuanian Christian National-Democratic Union (TS-LKD) and the Party Lithuanian Social Democratic Labor (LSDDP). and in a constituency, with a self-appointed candidate.
G. Palucko does not intend to “overthrow”
