President Gitanas Nausėda on December 4. concluded meetings with ministerial candidates.
Some candidates received praise from the state leader, others criticized.
However, one candidate has been openly humiliated, the leader of the Popular Party, Garbriel Landsbergis, who is seeking to become foreign minister.
G. Nausėda did not evaluate the young man in public at all.
An adviser to the head of state announced that G. Nausėda would personally tell future Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonyte about G. Landsbergis’ assessment.
It is not known why G. Nausėda treats the leader of the People’s Party G. Landsbergis.
