Former Belarusian official with scandalous suspicions about Lukashenko: no one is surprised anymore

“We have received information that the tuple of a dictator has arrived at the Detention Center. Given the revenge of the usurper and his sadistic inclinations, it was not surprising that a man, believing himself president, could go to the interrogation isolator to interact with a detainee who, according to the authorities, participated in the organization of the protests. Our experts in the field of forensic medicine affirm that in the video material distributed on May 24, there are sufficient indications that R. Pratasevičius’s nose has been broken . <...> We have received information that Lukashenko himself has broken the nose of a detained journalist, “BYPOL wrote on its Telegram channel.

R. Pratasevičius himself, who was brought to the so-called press conference this week, called this information a joke.

“I’m not going to comment, it’s just fun,” he said.

BYPOL spokesperson Aliaksandr Azarov told Current Time TV more about what might have happened after R. Pratasevičius’s arrest and the ways he could be tortured.

– You announced on the BYPOL Telegram channel that Lukashenko himself had broken Pratasevich’s nose. Pratasevičius reacted to this information with laughter during a press conference. Explain why you are so sure that Lukashenko personally contributed to Pratasevičius’s torture.

– Basically Pratasevičius’s laugh was artificial, it’s obvious. Furthermore, we have our own sources in all Belarusian law enforcement agencies. And a few days ago, we received information that it was Lukashenko, a citizen, who broke his nose.

We analyze the information and recall that Lukashenko’s tuple was detected after Pratasevičius was detained in solitary confinement. So we couldn’t figure out what to do there and who to meet. And now we have received information, even from various sources, so we wrote on our Telegram channel that it was Lukashenko who broke his nose.

In addition, he was referred to a doctor from the Presidential Affairs Department of the Republican Clinical Center, and everyone knows that the center does not treat ordinary people, much less ordinary detainees.

– If we believe this information, why do you think Lukashenko wanted to go to Pratasevich in person and beat him?

– The information is, of course, shocking, but no one is surprised that a plane can land with Pratasevičius. And if we remember how Lukashenko, a citizen, became a deputy for the first time, it is a well-known fact that he was prosecuted for bodily injury, he beat the tractor driver of the collective farm that he ran.

And he became a deputy to get immunity, and that criminal case was dropped. What do you think people are changing or improving? I really doubt it.

Ramanas Prataseviius

– Previously, Raman Pratasevich was shown during polls on Belarusian television. Now he was pushed to live the air. How do we assess that so-called press conference?

– Basically, it is unprecedented for a captive person to go to TV studios and share an interview. There was nothing like it before. Now, I think the KGB uses it for propaganda purposes. I saw, of course, not everything. For me, if I speak honestly, I would see him answer those questions. I have a great understanding of how to work with him.

– And how is it handled?

– We show a record of how the Interior Ministry officials work in the cells with the detainees, you can see everything. He is subject to every possible compulsion, if not physical, moral and psychological. This means that he is humiliated in that chamber in every way, you can force him to sleep on the seat, sleep on the floor like a dog, he is not allowed to sit at the table with everyone.

This means that the person is constantly despised, they tell him: if he wants we can transfer you to another cell, there the conditions will be normal. And it will do anything. I am a thousand percent sure that this is exactly how we work with Pratasevičius.

KGB psychologists also work with them. I can well imagine a KGB officer sitting across from me answering questions. These are not Pratasevičius ‘answers, they are the KGB employees’ answers. That means you know what to say, you learn those responses by heart. I know that texts are being written, handed to the camera, to the person sitting there reading and trying to memorize. There is only one wrong answer, and he will be punished, which is why he laughs so artificially, tense, trying to give the impression that he is funny, although not entirely funny. I don’t really envy him.

– Raman showed his hands during the press conference – it could be seen that the wounds were actually healing. How do you think it could be that Raman didn’t expire for a while before that broadcast?

– When you first told how you were arrested, you said that you were received by special forces. Now, he says, they were ordinary militiamen without handcuffs. After all, this is absurd. All militia officers performing service carry service handcuffs with them, keep time with them. Can not it be a different way.

And such restrictions are used only by special services and began to be used during the elections. We have documents proving that OMON bought hundreds of these screws from hardware stores during the election. This means that if his hands were restricted with those bolts, it was undoubtedly the Rapid Reaction Force of the Special Militia, Almaz or other special services, and not ordinary police officers.

And those bolts are not used due to lack of handcuffs. It is about physical suffering. This can be equated to torture. The claws on a man’s hands are so tight that he is in constant terrible pain.

– Pratasevičius expressed hope that there will be more meetings with journalists. Can it be argued that the more compelling Raman is, the more likely he is to survive alone and save Sofia Sapega?

– Of course, it is better to attend a press conference than to sit in a cell and suffer. You see, right? For him, every opportunity to get out of there is a great happiness.

He sits in a cell and is forced to suffer every moment, and here he is taken somewhere. You don’t understand that getting it out is a complicated process. They take him to the studio, do his makeup, assign him homework, talk for a few hours, and then to the press conference itself. He escapes from that torture chamber all day and, perhaps, he is even happy.
