“The Christmas, New Year period is blowing with a lot of hope, we feel a lot of interest, but we feel a little unsure about whether there will be additional restrictions … Right now, people’s opportunities are very limited, however, the holidays … In the past, those who traveled abroad and those who traveled in Lithuania did not celebrate so sensibly. Bars and restaurants are closed, everything is closed, few alternatives remain, so it would be an opportunity to stay in a resort, in nature, ”says Kristupas Šliogeris, manager of the Palangos žuvėdra hotel in Palanga.
According to him, the interest of guests for a stay by the sea is really felt. It grows from mid-December to January 4.
“I make strong reservations, as if I am happy, but as if I am worried about not having to cancel … We are ready to receive guests safely and bring breakfast to the rooms. We have 100 rooms, we will plan and distribute them in stages , in a sliding time ”, said the manager.
According to him, there has been no New Years when the hotel is not busy, so if no restrictions are imposed, there is no doubt that guests will not be without.
The prices for the winter holidays, which give away two bridges this year, are similar to last year. Here, accommodation in this three-star hotel costs about 40 euros at the moment.
