Many passions were aroused by the planned construction of a new Rimi store on Džiaugsmo street, and last year, after a discussion with the public, the project was returned to the supplier for improvement. Adjusted images of the mall are being sent to the public for reconsideration.
The total area of the building was reduced by 256 mtwo until 2054two. The project proposals discuss two variants of the building: mirror images of each other. It is planned to install 114 m in the revised objecttwo restaurant, pharmacy, post office and 1282mtwo area of the commercial hall, which will be dedicated to the Rimi retail chain.
The drawings also indicate that 7 trees will be felled, 77 will be preserved, and up to 79 new trees will be planted.
