During the long hiatus of the Betsafe-LKL match between Kaunas Žalgiris and Vilnius Rytas, the spells of the quarterfinals of the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (KMT) were drawn.

The teams of Alytus “Dzūkija” and “Šiauliai”, who will meet in the second stage, are still applying for the last quarter-final ticket. The winners of this pair will be announced on December 14.
Citadele KMT quarterfinal pairs:
1. Kaunas “Žalgiris” – Pasvalys “Milk Stars”
2. Vilnius “Morning” – Utena “Juventus”
3. Panevėžys “Lietkabelis” – Prienai “CBet”
4. Klaipėda “Neptūnas” – Alytus “Dzūkija” or “Šiauliai”
It is interesting that the capital club faces Citadele KMT in the quarterfinals for the fifth consecutive season.
Two matches will be played in the quarterfinal phase: the first matches will take place in Utena, Prienai, Pasvalys and Alytus or Šiauliai, and the counterparts will take place in Kaunas, Vilnius, Panevėžys and Klaipėda. The team with the best ratio of lost points after two games will enter the Citadele KMT Final Four tournament.
In the semifinals, the winners of the first pair will meet the winners of the fourth pair, and the winners of the second pair will meet the winners of the third.
The final four of the Citadele KMT will take place from February 13 to 14.
