NKL – VIKINGLOTTO regular season MVP Aurelijus Pukelis scored 33 points, and the Šakiai “Vytis” basketball players led by him sensationally won the championship bronze medals with just seven.

Erikas Kučiauskas students in the quarterfinals of the match in Jonava for third place 81:69 (28:21, 19:17, 14:15, 20:16) defeated “Sūduva-Mantinga” from Marijampolė.

However, at the end of the quarter, Vytis regained control of the match and led by Paulius Semaška, who scored 8 points in a row, restored the lead to 8 points before the decisive 10 minutes (61:53).
The incoming Sakiai did not let the victory get out of hand. The Kučiauskas students ran 8-0 and after 14 minutes thrown by Šarūnas Vingelis they went away by 14 points (73:59). Vytis held the lead until the end of the match and triumphed.
The culmination of the four finalists will be tomorrow. Jonava’s team “CBet” will meet “Telšiai” because of the trophy and the opportunity to compete in the Lithuanian basketball league next season.
The final, which begins at 7:30 pm, will be broadcast live on INFO TV.
