In the 37th minute, after another great corner kick, our defensive line stopped the goalkeeper to take the lead, but Algimantė Mikutaitė shot wide on goal. At the end of time, the Lithuanian team continued to destroy the opponents’ defense: R. Jonušaitė struck twice and A. Mikutaitė’s shot shook the gate structure.
A great mood also prevailed in the second half at the Jonava Stadium. In the 52nd minute, after the combination, the Latvian defense was undone and Liucija Vaitukaitytė scored his second goal. After just four minutes, the Lithuanians again took advantage of their opponents’ confusion and Milda Liužinaitė scored 5: 0.
