We can safely say that Schiller’s forced maneuver, when Steve Vistura went off the line, displacing Hayes in sections to the light edge position is one of the best things that could have happened in Žalgiris’ rotation this season.

Joffrey Lauvergne’as – 9 broom

Despite several failed substitutions on the perimeter when Lauvergne did not run against rival defenders, the Frenchman’s performance was very solid. Joffrey was aggressive throughout the game and threw the most pitches this season (13) and repeated the most rewarding performance of his career at Žalgiris (19). Lauvergne also demonstrated an arsenal of beautiful deceptive moves and only luck sometimes smiled on the ALBA basketball players, who were unable to respond in size to Lithuania’s Champions Center. We cannot fail to mention the legionary rebound of a very important ball in attack in the last seconds of the game.

We can’t help but be impressed by the fantastic veteran section, which coincides with the “Žalgiris” series of victories: 5 matches and 5 double-digit utility figures collected 5 times, with an average of 12.2. Jankūnas did well again in the match and immediately won a pair of microduels, and also scored the second triple of the season. Yes, Jankis once lost from a comfortable position and went too deep to the rescue, which cost three points, but all in all, it’s a lot of fun to see a captain look so solid in the Euroleague.

Grigonis had a difficult time on the field; the muddy terrain made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to fit nicely with ALBA.
