ESO: customer codes change for electricity consumers

According to Renaldo Radvila, ESO’s Director of Services, each company provides a unique customer code based on the principles of their internal systems. The customer code is a very important detail of the user profile, as it is required every time a payment is made for the electricity consumed.

“Customer codes are changing for all electricity consumers whose contracts with the public supplier that supplied electricity have expired before. It does not matter at all whether or not the consumer has chosen an independent provider, it is automatically included in the warranty supply; the client code changes in any case. Therefore, when making an electricity payment at the end of the month, it is important to be careful not to indicate the old code when creating a new payment template, ”says R. Radvila.

The code provided by the independent vendor is specified in the contract with the customer. Meanwhile, a new customer code will be assigned within one week of the warranty delivery service commencing. The user will be able to view or check it by logging into the ESO self-service website www.eso.lt/savitarna, as well as being informed personally – by email or post, according to the ESO report.

R. Radvila also points out that the customer code will also change for those consumers who decide to replace a selected independent provider with another.
