“The Labor Party was very active in the election campaign, we outperformed most of Lithuania,” he told a press conference held at the Palace of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania on Monday morning.

“We will try to propose the formation of a government. We are willing to cooperate, but we really do not want to sacrifice the program for the positions,” he said between coughs.
Jukna said that so far there has been no talk of coalitions. He added that V. Uspaskich suffers from a cold.
“In the program, we have an ambitious regional development package, which reduces exclusion, changes the educational system, the medical services system,” he said.
Worker Viktor Fyodorov said Uspaskich would resign from the European Parliament if the party had at least half the government.
“Looking at the results, it seems that we will not be able to have half the government,” he said.
According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission, the Labor Party raised 9% in the first round of the Seimas elections. votes and will receive nine seats in parliament.
Two representatives of the “workers” entered the second round of the elections: Valentinas Bukauskas in Telšiai and Rimvydas Podolskis in the electoral districts of northern Nalšia.
The second round of the parliamentary elections will take place on October 25.
