The London-based artist, who fascinated audiences with his voice at Covent Garden, Milan’s La Scala, and other famous opera venues, was eager to return to Lithuania and perform the most beautiful opera arias, various arrangements of which were specially prepared by the composer Jievaras Jasinskis.

Without the comrades from the Modestas Pitrėnas festival and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, who attended E. Montvidas on Friday night, Midsummer Vilnius is no longer imaginable. During the four years of the festival’s existence, Asmik Grigorian, Andrius Mamontovas, Jazzu and other famous Lithuanian artists performed on stage together with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra.

Among the spectators of the concert of E. Montvidas in the courtyard of the Palace of the Rulers, you could also see famous people. Beata Nicholson, author of culinary books, television presenter, actor Arūnas Sakalauskas with his wife, actress Jolanta Dapkūnaitė, LNOBT director Jonas Sakalauskas and others arrived.
