According to D.Razmuvienė, the spread of the coronavirus is very fast.

“It is practically impossible to predict what the consequences will be here again, because even groups of scientists had predicted what the situation would be in September, October and November. Those predictions have not been confirmed ”, emphasized the epidemiologist.

As they approach the long Weekend, when visiting the graves of the dead, D.Razmuvienė said that people should assess the risks that may arise both for themselves and for their relatives, relatives, as well as the need to go to cemeteries in other regions of the country.

It is precisely those regions and municipalities marked by traffic lights that must be taken into account. But again, in human terms, if people do not look at the colors of the traffic lights, that they continue to wear protective equipment, that is, masks, that they keep their distance, “he emphasized.

D.Razmuvienė also urged people not to meet at the cemetery, not to meet friends after visiting the cemetery.

“Usually, when such a tradition of Lithuanians is gathered in a cemetery – in one region or another not in the municipality where they live – neighbors, acquaintances, friends and, of course, certain memories are discussed. This should not be done: neither herds nor go somewhere afterwards to spend a night of memories. This can definitely be done when there is a completely calm situation. And if this year, let’s say, people do not go to the dead, surely it will be possible to visit them in a much calmer time, “said the epidemiologist.

This should not be done: neither flock nor go somewhere to spend a night of memories. This can definitely be done when there is a totally calm situation.

If this long weekend is active and people go to visit the graves, as D. Razmuvienė said, the incidence of the coronavirus may increase even more.

Attitude is not always responsible

According to D.Razmuvienė, the public needed to look more responsibly at the coronavirus situation earlier.

According to her, we now have the consequences of this attitude and behavior that is not always responsible.

“These are ignored measures that perhaps only had an advisory nature when foreigners accept the recommendation as a genuine need to use or maintain distances. We can see perfectly what is happening both during sports competitions and in clubs and cafes. Definitely not it is no secret that all these requirements are not met there “, emphasized the epidemiologist.

We can see very well what is happening both during sports competitions and in clubs and cafes. It is certainly no secret that all these requirements are not met there.

D.Razmuvienė explained that the highest number of people infected by COVID-19 is in the age group up to 65 years. Because these people are the most active in social life.

“But again, those younger individuals who lead such an active and highly social life without thinking about what is in their environment, again, of course, represent a risk for those most affected by the virus,” he emphasized.
