The minister says that he receives a lot of letters with proposals for the management of a pandemic: in theory, the ideas sound good, but in practice they do not take root.
“During this time, I have received and listened to many suggestions. Every bidder imagines that his choice of how to solve everything in Lithuania and how everyone will get vaccinated here is very clear to him until we start to implement it in practice (…) Maybe they misjudge us, but I have faith: if we manage to control the pandemic and we will all go out together, the time will come when we will be forgiven, ”the minister hopes.
Among the letters sent to the politician are messages condemning the “anti-taxi” movement: they are wished to death.
“I receive letters asking me why throw away taxpayers’ money and spend so much money on mobile groups, tents, weekend jobs: let these people die if they like it. There is a group of people who believe it”, says the minister.
